As Associate Pastor here at Lebanon my heartbeat and goal is to reach people for Christ. All our ministries are designed in ways to either disciple or reach the unchurched. One of my goals is to see our church become more passionate about reaching a lost world. God has allowed me to serve as Youth Pastor for several years here at the church. I wouldn’t trade those memories for anything. However, I’m excited to see how God has created new moments and opportunities in this role as well to reach people. God doesn’t ask us but COMMANDS us to “go out unto all the world” with His leading we’re going to do that. “Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world”.
Associate Pastor: Richard Wright
Since 1909 Lebanon Baptist Church has been a witness for God in this community. God is always the same, but among His people, the names and faces change. This 2010 centennial directory will help us know one another better and will help future generations recall their heritage. With this book, and every endeavor of the church, we desire to give glory to our Lord Jesus Christ who gave his life that we might live. Our goal is that every age group will feel a part of this church family and they will grow and mature in the Lord. The church motto is: “A church that ministers to the entire family” and that is what we strive to do for each family and the community. My Life’s verse is John 16:33.
Pastor of Student Ministries: Derek Bailey
Student ministry is ever-changing. God has blessed us with so many students and has given us amazing opportunities and responsibilities to reach even more. Living in a culture that constantly competes for the hearts and lives of our young people, we are challenged to understand and communicate Jesus’ self-declaration in John 14:6 as the Way, the Truth and the Life. We are commanded to reach and disciple young champions for Christ. I have three foundational goals for our students. First, they must grow in their personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Second, they grow together as a group. Finally, they activate themselves into ministry opportunities. It is essential that we reach students with the unchanging message of Jesus Christ in contemporary, relevant and exciting ways.
Church Secretaries: Linda Norris & Jennifer Case
We are blessed to have Linda on staff at Lebanon Baptist Church. She continues to aid our pastors in most every aspect of ministry. Along with many financial, clerical and information servicing aspects of her job, Linda is very active in many ministries as a volunteer.
